What the Sam Hell ...

OK - now you tell me - What The Hell ... is this
squiggling it's tail beside my soaker hose? I
picked it up with my gloves and the front half
is hard ... it kept vibrating between my fingers!
I'm thinking it's a 'thing'aka pupae aka "pharate"
desperately trying to get out of its chrysalis maybe ...
if so that's cool. If not, it's not cool - alien creature
