Dealing with fruitflies

Something I don't like which comes along at this time of year ... fruitflies ...

besides pouncing on a plastic bag fruitfly trap - another way
to capture fruitflies is to set out a shallow pan of apple cider
vinegar with a tiny squirt of dish soap (it breaks the surface
tension) and secure plastic wrap on top then pin prick a lot of
small holes all over the plastic ... wait & watch - they'll come!
